✨ Competition Theme: Path of Light
As the days grow shorter and winter settles in, we invite you to take part in our next photo competition and explore the quiet beauty of the season.
Winter drapes the world in silence, frost, and soft shadows.
Path of Light invites you to capture the way light travels through this quiet season — a golden sunbeam breaking through bare trees, a lantern guiding footsteps through snow, the shimmer of streetlights on icy streets, or the ethereal dance of the northern lights across a dark sky.
Seek the moments where light carves its story, paints its path, or leads the eye through winter’s hush.
Interpret the theme literally, figuratively, or abstractly — the path may be a trail, a reflection, a glow, or a fleeting shimmer, but it should illuminate, inspire, and evoke a sense of wonder.

- Competition Start: December 2025
- Submission Deadline: February 28th, 2026 at 23:59
- Jury Vote & Winner Announcement: To be announced

🧭 Rules & Participation
To ensure fairness and clarity, please read the rules below carefully:
- Eligibility
- You must have been enrolled at a Swiss university or Swiss university of applied sciences at any time during the year 2025.
- If your photo is selected, we will contact you to verify your student status with valid documentation.
- Photo Criteria
- Your image does not need to have been taken during the competition period — it simply needs to fit the theme.
- You may submit up to three (3) images.
- Each file must not exceed 10 MB in size.
- Your image(s) must include copyright information (e.g. your name) — either in the filename or embedded in the metadata.
- Content Guidelines
- If your image contains a person as the main subject, you must comply with Swiss privacy regulations:

- Exclusions
- Judges are not eligible to participate.
- Deadline
- All submissions must be uploaded by 23:59 on February 28th, 2026 to be eligible for the jury vote.
