Dear Fotokommission Community, This summer, we’re launching our biggest photo competition yet — with more time, more prizes, and even more space for creativity.
Theme: Adventure
Adventure can mean many things — an epic hike in the Alps, a spontaneous road trip, a local street discovery, or a quiet moment stepping outside your comfort zone.
We’re looking for photos that tell a story of exploration, courage, or simply the unexpected beauty of taking a different path. Let your images inspire us to seek adventure, big or small.

Rules & Participation
To ensure fairness and clarity, please read the rules below carefully:
Eligibility: You must have been enrolled at a Swiss university or Swiss university of applied sciences at any time during the year 2025. If your photo is selected, we will contact you to verify your student status with valid documentation.
Photo Criteria:
- Your image does not need to have been taken during the competition period — it just needs to fit the theme.
- You may submit up to three (3) images.
- Each file must not exceed 10 MB in size.
- Your image(s) must include copyright information (e.g. your name) — either in the filename or embedded in the metadata.
Content Guidelines: If your image contains a person as the main subject, you must comply with Swiss privacy guidelines:

Exclusions: Board members of the Fotokommission are not eligible to participate.
Deadline: All submissions must be uploaded by 23:59 on August 31st, 2025 to be eligible for the Jury vote.

Terms and Conditions: By submitting your image, you confirm that you are the rightful author of this photo and that no copyrights are violated by its publication. You also agree that the Fotokommission may publish your photo on its communication channels and announce you as the winner in its communications (newsletter, website, social media).
