The FotoKommission maintains a pool of photographers, which conduct courses, take pictures of VSETH events and handle specific assignments for the Polykum.
A membership in the pool is very attractive for photography-enthusiastic students:
- free use of professional photography equipment
- free participation in our photography courses
- free and exclusive further education
- professional support for individual development
- valuable practical experience at events
- collaboration with the Polykum (imprint with attribution)
- pay, if course instructor
To be admitted, you mainly need one thing:
- Motivation
All our assignments and courses are voluntary: They are presented to the pool, and whoever has time and is interested will cover the assignment. We require our pool members to cover at least 2-3 assignments or courses per semester.

- How much time do you have for assignments each semester? How long do you plan to stay in the pool?
- How much knowledge do you already have? What experiences did you have the chance to gather?
- What direction would you like to develop your photographic know-how in?
Please don't be shy. The goal of the FotoKommission is, to provide an opportunity to students to acquire photographic knowledge. It's definitely not a requirement to already be a professional.

WICHTIG: Immer in den ersten zwei Wochen des Semesters werden alle Bewerber zu einem informellen Gespräch eingeladen. Falls du aber nicht sicher bist, ob die Fotokommission etwas für dich ist, darfst gerne auch während des Semesters an eines unserer internen Events (Print&Beer, …) kommen.
